Remember how I was planning my cousin`s surprise baby shower. Well finally, here are pictures. She was really surprised and we all had a really good time. I think everything turned out beautiful.
Obviously it was a baby girl shower. My theme started out as `Vintage Baby`and in the end just turned out being a pink wonderland!
These cupcakes turned out soooooo nice! And not to mention, Delicious! They were a vanilla buttermilk cupcake that I died pink. They were covered in buttercream frosting and topped with a homemade fondant butterfly. (Homemade fondant is so much tastier than bought!). I finally got to use my cupcake stand. So excited!
We had a brunch buffet. I made a bunch of Mini Muffins (Carrot cake and Blueberry Jam filled). Other things on the menu were a delicious Spinach Cheese Quiche (courtesy of my mom), fruit and cheese platters, fruits, potatoes, smoothies, bacon deviled eggs, etc. Everything was really good! We all ate very well. There even was a candy table. YUM!
For the party favors, I decided on mini potted violets. They were really sweet and looked pretty all lined up.
Here is a picture of the most beautiful baby shower cake. It was a triple chocolate cake, filled with buttercream, and topped with homemade pink fondant. It was really tasty (some ladies even had seconds!). My mom and dad worked hard on this cake and it turned out fantastic!
So that pretty much sums up the first shower i`ve planned. Success!!!
