Flood.....

Okay, so I didnt have time to write about this yet, but two days ago we had a FLOOD! Yes, a flood. I was making supper and I had just drained my corn when i started hearing this spraying noise. It sounded like the dishwasher but it wasnt on. So I followed the sound and it was coming from under the sink. When I opened the cupboard, there was boiling water spraying EVERYWHERE. The knob to cut off the water was stuck not to mention it's a little hard to try and close something when boiling water is spraying out at you. Then we tried to close the hot water tank but couldn't find the knob (later we found it about 2 feet away from the actual tank (weird)). So finally we cut off the whole house water supply. Meanwhile, the water in the kitchen was almost at the bathroom and almost pouring down the stairs. My cousin's were over so I was throwing them towels and anything absorbent I could find in the house. Anyways, that had to be one of the scariest things ever. My heart was racing for the next hour. We called the plumber and he fixed it right away. It's funny how in times of panic you dont think of obvious things like turning off the water supply to the house. We tried everything else first. Stupid yes, but when you see your kitchen getting flooded you just go into shear panic and run around the house like a chicken without it's head. Well, thank god that fiasco is over. And now if it ever happens again (which i hope it doesnt) we'll know what to do. Thank god I wasnt home alone because I would have been in the corner crying and drowning. LOL!

Awesomeness!

So we finally got our pictures of the wedding from our photographer. They're AWESOME. The candid ones especially. There is over a thousand pics. We have a full bag of them. Yes, they gave us a printed copy as well as a cd. Can you imagine how many pictures 1000 is??? Its nuts. But these guys were amazing and our pictures totally reflect that. Not only did the pictures come out nice, but we had a blast with those guys on the day. Really funny. All in all, that day was magical. I would do it every weekend if I could.

So this is my favorite shot of them all. I think the composition is fabulous. It is dramatic and playful at the same time. It's AWESOMENESS! hehe There are so many nice pictures, its so hard to choose the best one, but for now this is my favorite of myself.
